I have been receiving so much love from my blog and my craft. I cannot express my gratitude and appreciation from all of my supporters. This journey has been an emotional rollercoaster, but I am enjoying the ride. Thank you all for rocking with me.
Many women ask me how do I achieve my everyday makeup look. They generally ask what products I use, how long it takes to apply my makeup and other questions in general. So I wanted to share with you all my makeup must-haves. Despite the fact that I own a TON of makeup, I do have my everyday products that I use on a regular basis. Let’s get started!
I tried to narrow the products down to five, but it was difficult. I have eight that I use on a regular basis.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade
My natural eyebrows are thin. I also keep them trimmed to where I draw my tail. From the many, many, many products I used to fill in my eyebrows, the ABH Dipbrow Pomade has been hands-down the best. It lasts all day, and a little goes a long way! I typically use either the colors Chocolate or Ebony.
Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara
I am addicted to this mascara. For years, I was using Maybelline Colossal Mascara, but after a while, I became bored with it. I heard great things about the Better than Sex Mascara, so I decided to give it a try. I didn’t like it at first, but on my third attempt to try it, I fell completely head over heels in love with it! My eyelashes are naturally curly, so this mascara not only extends my lashes, but it gives them extra volume.
NYX Conceal, Correct, Contour Palette
This palette is my secret weapon! I don’t use this for contouring, but I do use this palette for my eyebrows. It is a great product, and it is inexpensive, $12 to be exact! If you are a frequent Ulta shopper like myself, then you can use your coupon and save $3.50. I use the NYX Conceal, Correct, Contour Palettes medium and deep palettes.
NYX Shine Killer
I do not use this product every day, but I keep it handy especially on warmer days. Like most women, I have an oily T-Zone, ugh! During the day, when I notice a little shine, I whip out the NYX Shine Killer to apply on the oily areas. The shine is gone in a flash. Despite the fact, you should use this as a primer (and I do), but if I need to do a quick touch up, I apply the shine killer and reapply a small amount of foundation to complete the look.
NARS Blush in Orgasm
One word - LOVE! When I combine this blush with a bronzer and a highlighter, it gives me the perfect sun-kissed glow! NARS Blush in Orgasm.
Sephora PRO Contour Precision Brush #79
I use this brush to apply my highlighter. Some swear by the fan brush, and that is fine. However, I love this brush more than the fan brush. Now I do use the fan brush after I apply my highlighter to blend the product for a flawless look. The #79 brush is pricey, but worth every dollar. If you want more control when applying a highlighter, I recommend this brush.
MAC Cosmetics Lip Pencil in Chestnut
I use this lip liner for toning down highly pigmented nude-colored lipsticks/lip glosses. Since my top lip is darker than the bottom and I have a natural dark lip line, this MAC Cosmetics Lip Pencil is an awesome color to give my nudes a natural look.
MAC Cosmetics Lipglass in C-Thru
My favorite nude lip gloss. As I am not a total fan of MAC’s lipsticks, I do love their lipglass. I use this MAC Cosmetics Lipglass a lot to add a little shine to my nude matte lipsticks.

I don’t know about you, but since the pandemic began, I changed how I wear my makeup while wearing my mask. I am sure a lot of us can relate. We have watered down our makeup looks. Before I begin to share how I wear my makeup, let me remind you to throw away your masks! I strongly recommend wearing a disposable mask and throwing it away at the end of the day.
