I am sure that all creatives can agree that we love to create. No matter what it is, it is our first love. Sometimes, we work so hard at what we do, and we tend to forget to take time out to enjoy going out without thinking about, creating.
In my case, I love creating content. My mind wonders 24/7 and sometimes it drives myself crazy. After a long work week, it was time to enjoy a night out and engage in some activities that do not require any form of work. That is what I did - I attended the pop-up Trap Music Museum in Atlanta.

Honestly, I wasn’t planning on considering this as a blog post, but a good friend of mine made the suggestion, and I thought that the idea was stellar.
After planning the night out, I wanted to keep my look simple. The weather has finally changed, and I was able to wear my boots again! I knew the museum would require a vast amount of standing and walking, so heels were not an option.

I paired my tall laced-up boots from Zooshoo with some ripped jeans from Express. I decided to wear a plain black shirt from Old Navy and a leather jacket I purchased from Wilson’s Leather a few years ago. Finally, I accessorized my look with gold jewelry from Forever 21.

I love Autumn-inspired makeup looks. My look was created with a copper eye from the ColourPop Perception Palette created by Makeup Shayla along with the I Think I Love You Palette. I used one of my favorite eyelashes from PUR Cosmetics in Diva to add more dimension to my eyes. The highlight is from the ColourPop + MakeupShayla Collection in Pose (I use this shade ALL of the time because it looks beautiful with my skin tone). Lastly, the nude lip is one of my normal concoctions, ColourPop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Strut (no longer available) and glossed with Gerard Cosmetics Supreme Lip Cream in Angel Cake and lined with MAC Cosmetics Lip Liner in Cork.
Be great and amazing,
I don’t know about you, but since the pandemic began, I changed how I wear my makeup while wearing my mask. I am sure a lot of us can relate. We have watered down our makeup looks. Before I begin to share how I wear my makeup, let me remind you to throw away your masks! I strongly recommend wearing a disposable mask and throwing it away at the end of the day.
