First of all, I was on a panel y’all!
I had the opportunity to sit on a panel with lovely creatives and entrepreneurs at the Mind Your Business Series, hosted by Kay of She’s a Creative. The Mind Your Business Series is her first event, and it was an amazing experience. Cheers to you, boo!
The purpose of the event is for women who are looking to expand their businesses by staying in their lane as well as minding the business that pays them. Not only did the event had a panel, but Kay featured four speakers who presented a WEALTH of knowledge. We all had our journals and pens ready! The love and networking were real, and there were tears shed and nothing but positive vibes from start to finish. I met some amazing women, and there’s nothing like connecting with like-minded women!
As this was my first speaking engagement, and I want to thank Kay again for the opportunity. I love speaking to fellow entrepreneurs about my journey and provide as much advice as possible. By the grace of God, this will be the first of many more speaking opportunities in the future.
Check out my mini gallery from the event. My hair and makeup were done by me, of course. The jumpsuit is from Francesca's Boutique, shoes are by Jessica Simpson Collection, and accessories are from Forever 21 and Michael Kors.
Welcome to the Mind Your Business Series!! The event was held at Holly’s Event Center in Midtown Atlanta.
Jumpsuits are not my thang, but I came out of my fashion comfort zone, lol! My jumpsuit is from Francesca’s Boutique, shoes are from Jessica Simpson’s Collection, my accessories are from Forever 21; Michael Kors. Lastly, my hair and makeup were done by me.
Yikes! I was caught during some deep thoughts. The panel was amazing!
We cannot be serious all of the time, lol! Time for some silly faces, ladies!
Here are some of the lovely attendees and the speakers of the Mind Your Business Series.
Selfie time! The backdrop was super cute!
Cheers to more amazing opportunities!
Be great and amazing!
I don’t know about you, but since the pandemic began, I changed how I wear my makeup while wearing my mask. I am sure a lot of us can relate. We have watered down our makeup looks. Before I begin to share how I wear my makeup, let me remind you to throw away your masks! I strongly recommend wearing a disposable mask and throwing it away at the end of the day.
