Happy Sunday loves!
Self-care is important. Today, I made it a priority to take care of me, Jennifer J. This past week has been stressful, between working my full-time job, managing my business, and other personal endeavors was enough. Saturday, I spent a day of enjoying Atlanta, but the pollen is something else!
A self-care Sunday well spent! The Brilliant bamboo charcoal face mask and my daily face cleanser/toner from Arcona Skin Care
My freshly washed face before the mask.
With that being said, it was time to get my skin together! Proper skin care is critical as a makeup artist. Not only for my clients but myself as well. It is essential for me to engage in keeping my skin in top shape.
Sipping my tea while the mask is detoxing my face.
I was excited to try the bamboo charcoal mask from This Is Feel. Brilliant’s active charcoal sheet mask deeply cleanses and detoxifies to extract excess oil, bacteria, and all the other ickiness from the week out of your pores (www.thisisfeel.com). As I set my timer for 30 minutes, I enjoyed a cup of Teavana Jade Citrus Mint Green Tea (one of my faves) and indulged in a repeat episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta.

The results after I removed the mask, and wow! I felt completely rejuvenated! My face looks brighter, it’s toned, feels clean and free of toxins.
Some other activities I partook during my self-care day was sleeping in, cleaned my home and kicking back, doing some research on a couple of forthcoming projects that are in the works for an announcement in a few months!

Self care is everything! Always remember to take time for yourself, and do things that make you happy. Every person deserves some downtime. When our battery goes low, it is vital to involve yourself with activities to help recharge yourself back to 100%.
Be great and amazing,
