Happy Valentine's Day! Typically for this holiday, you have the ones who are Pro-Valentine's Day and the people who are Anti-Valentine's Day spectators. Last year, I created an Anti-Valentine's Day look that ended up being quite successful with a dark gray smokey eye and a wine colored lip. This year, I wanted to create a look for the lovers and haters of the holiday of love. For the Pro-Valentine's Day look, I wanted to keep it soft with a shimmery, yet dramatic eye, utilizing various shades of pink. This is a fun, yet flirty look that not only could be worn for Valentine's Day but all year long.

BH Cosmetics Contour/Blush Palette
Next, you have the Anti-Valentine's Day look which emphasizes more on dark eyes, a matte lip, and highlights. In the midst of applying makeup for my Anti-Valentine's Day look, I decided to finally use my blush palette from BH Cosmetics (sounds familiar, right?). I scored purchasing this palette from TJ Maxx some time ago last summer. Granted, I never used it until now. Must I say, I slept on a great product ONCE AGAIN! The blush has a nice color variation, and it is extremely pigmented. A little goes a long way, and I just wish I would have known beforehand. After a few color adjustments, the look came together. Memo to self: use the makeup you purchase instead of letting it sit, unused for months.
