I cannot believe how fast the summer is blowing right in front of our eyes. In the midst of enjoying my summer, I began a new journey in my career. Again, I have to learn how to balance working full-time, practicing makeup part-time, and managing my blog. I have not been the most consistent with content on my blog, and I am going to continue working on creating a schedule and setting goals.
Happy Birthday to me!!! Today, I turn 35 years old. To many, I don’t look a day over 30. I am thankful for good genetics and taking care of myself. As I sit and reflect on my past year, I have been blessed in so many ways. I accomplished a lot of goals and met and connected with some awesome people. I am excited about how my blog has been taking new heights, and I cannot thank you all for your support.
Oh! Hello, June! Just in case you all do not know, June is my favorite month. Summer begins this month and not to mention, is my birthday month! As we are at the halfway mark of 2016, (I can't believe how fast this year is moving), I hope that you all are keeping up with your plans, goals, and new year resolutions (remember those, lol).
Brunch is what we know as the wonderful combination of breakfast and lunch where there is mimosa served along with your meal. Living in Cleveland, Ohio, there are plenty of excellent restaurants to enjoy. I believe that our restaurants are what make our city unique. I wanted to kick off my new lifestyle blog by writing about one of my favorite places I enjoy brunch.
Christmas is my favorite time of the year! This Christmas, I am thankful for not only my family and friends, but the many blessings God has blessed me with this year. I am going to admit, this year has been a rollercoaster with finishing up my Master’s degree, working a stressful job and building my brand. Just a little testimony: coming into 2015, I prayed and claimed that 2015 will be my year of breakthrough. I have been extremely blessed this year, not only to finish off the year graduating with my MBA, I was featured in The Plain Dealer, offered many jobs doing makeup, and the list goes on.
